NOTE: King Philip High school coaching staff embraces and follows all MIAA rules. The MIAA out-of-season rules is probably one of the most important rules that we follow. These standards exist to ensure fairness. It also is unfair to influence or require your own student athletes to participate in an out-of-season preparation program, because that deprives them and their parents from making choices about the use of their out-of-season time. In staying with this rule we as coaches want to make sure that everyone knows that these programs are not mandatory, no attendance will be taken, and no student athlete will receive any special consideration at the time of tryouts because they attend an off season program. We are posting this information for any student athlete from any school system that would like to obtain information on staying in physically health and have fun playing off season basketball. |
